TEXT IS IN FRENCH. Gray-blue printed wraps with original glasseine wrapper over plain heavy paper covers. Number 839 of an edition of 1500 on Holland paper. (Presumed first edition, simultaneous with other formats.) Book and DJ have short split at head of spine, wear with small loss at head and foot of spine, corners rubbed. The glasseine wrapper is discolored and tattered along the edges, but rare to find it still present. In all honesty, the darned thing should be removed and either deacidified and preserved, or tossed in the trash. Buyer's call on that one. Internally clean, with a few creased lower page corners.
