Book is in very good condition, color still bright with light fading at edges and a few smudges on back; several very small chips to spine. Remarkable condition for this fragile, frequently-damaged booklet. The portfolio is bright and clean with very tiny rubs at corners. Small essays, etc. on early stage coach days in the American West, gold mining areas, pioneering, crossing the Humboldt Desert and the Sierra Mountains, and much more.
