Brightly printed envelope and paper 'clock' about 10 x 7 inches. The clock is on heavy card stock, folded to make two sections. Instructions for assembly on the envelope. Assembly requires punching out various portions of the cards - this copy is intact and unused. Assembled, the clock dials turn to show time, and the comic characters change appearance. Not dated: circa 1940. (Original price of this paper toy was ten cents, printed on cover.) Very small closed chip to envelope top, otherwise in fine condition. 'One Against the Many!' This Captain Marvel WWII-era paper toy comes in a vividly colored printed envelope with a puzzle guide picture to color on the back. Ten-cent price patch on the front. The puzzle is intact, single sheet on heavy paper. The envelope is fragile, split across the bottom with a long closed cover split and some corner creasing. One corner is folded in, the material is intact but care will be needed to reinforce this area when unfolding it so that it does not break off. It's really in quite good condition - I want to say 'for its age' but won't - for a children's item on inexpensive paper. Heck, it's the same age as I am and I'm in a lot worse shape.
