First Edition Octavo in light green cloth decorated in dark green and gilt. 361 pages illustrated by 21 full page drawings, many on coated paper. The adventures of Ernest Seton-Thompson's wife (and mother of Anya Seton) on hunting trips and other adventures with her husband. A pencil previous owner name and a shadow of an erasure on the front endpaper, but the inside is otherwise clean and sound. Winston for the Boy Scounts. An early Lindbergh biography for older boys, a laudatory one, naturally. Lovely copy with barely a hint of wear and very minor even toning to the text. Lacks the jacket.
