Translated by Lee Wray. Pesti is a Hungarian poet, educator and lecturer. He had to flee his country because of the influence he wielded in the Hungarian Revolution. This book, 236 poems, was written under Communism, thereby covering all aspects of communism's unnatural brutality over man's indomitable spirit.
