Publisher: Breeder's Gazette Chicago 1915 First edition, second state Very good in the publisher's original 1/2 brown leather and green ribbed cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine with green end papers. With the names of two prior owner's neatly written on the second free end paper. The leather at the joints is rubbed as are the lower fore edges of the boards with minor areas of rubbing to the head and heel of the spine. The binding is tight and clean. Without a dust jacket. The full title reads: "At The Sign of the Stock Yard Inn The same being a true account of how certain great achievements of the past have been commemorated and cleverly linked with the present; together with sundry recollection inspired by the portraits at the saddle and sirloin club." 322 pages of text with illustrations.
