Association Copy. 18½ X 12½ cm. Fair/No dj. Half black calf with pebble-grained cloth-covered boards, sewn two-on on sunk cords, [vii], 378, [1] pp. Lacks back, tide marks to corners, else good. This copy of interest primarily on account of the bookplate of Horace Lowry on fpd, and his name & "Minneapolis" rubber-stamped on half-title. There are also a binder's tag for "Thode & Co., Bookbinders, 250 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, Minn.", and a note tipped onto half-title: "Bind 3 Books / Leather Backs & Corners / Clo-side. -- / use light wt boards / Whitall / 8/5/89." Horace Lowry succeeded his father Thomas Lowry and his uncle Calvin Goodrich, Jr., as president of Twin City Rapid Transit Company in 1915. Shipping weight 2 lbs.
