First Edition Quarto, about 10.5 inches tall, in green leather spine, green marbled paper covered boards. 128 pages illustrated by photographs. A nice copy of this story of an investment banker's foray into agricultural and forestry pursuits on a large tract in South Carolina. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Nicely produced book. The spine ends are lightly rubbed and there is minor abrasion to the edges of the spine as well. Previous owner bookplate laid in but there is a minor glue residue where it had been attached to the front pastedown. Otherwise a clean, bright and sound copy in a slipcase covered in the same marbled paper that is very lightly edgeworn. Hardcover Hardcover Very Good+ in Very Good+ Dustjacket
