Ysleta, Texas on the Rio Grande in southern El Paso County is one of the oldest permanent settlements in the present limits of Texas. This little softcover presented in comic book style with text and illustration by Tom Moore, a retired illustrator of Archie, Snuffy Smith, Underdog, and Mighty Mouse comics is signed "With Best Wishes, Tom Moore, 2011". Signed only - no other names, writing, or marks. The book is a promotional piece for the Citizens State Bank of Ysleta. Although the pages are not numbered the booklet contains 20 interior pages plus the cover which is also illustrated. The interior illustrations are black and white with the cover in color. You can see the similarity of the Archie comic book characters and the illustrations in this book. Book is in Fine, as new, condition. Book condition: As New. Book issued without a jacket. Softcover. 5 3/4 in. x 8 3/4 in. Signed by author.
