First Edition Upright octavo (that is narrow, about 4.5 by 8 inches) in red cloth stamped in black. 508 pages of brands; 115 pages of indexed names; 30 pages of the state's Livestock Laws with a two page index. The covers look pretty grubby with staining, fading, bleaching; and mild water damage at bottom edge. The interior is relatively clean, undamaged and soundly bound.
