Handbook for new recruits to the Coast Artillery Replacement Training Center which operated at Camp McQuaide from 1942-1943. There is information on the facilities and activities at the post as well as a section on "Amusements in Town. " Includes a centerfold map of the camp. Rather scarce. Camp McQuaide was on coast of Monterey Bay just west of Watsonville, California and is today occupied by Monterey Bay Academy. Bound in textured paper covers over a saddle-stapled binding, front cover printed in red and black. A few tiny extremity rubs. Military History
