Trade paperback in lavender soft card wraps, 8vo. xi+162pp. 7 plates (Byzantine art/architecture). The second (and last) "Mint" collection of poetry and essays. Contributors include (among others) W. H. Auden (on criticism), Ananda Coomaraswamy, Simone Weil (on the Iliad), P. H. Newby, Wyndham Lewis (on Tocqueville). Poem by Friedrich Holderlin; essays on Nikolai Leskov and Byzantine art. Good plus. Rubbing, fading and soil to wraps with stress creases to title-obliterated spine (but no tears). Small chips to spine ends. Soiled page edges. Very good interior lightly toned but clean and unmarked save for occasional pencil underlining to Weil essay. Binding tight and square. Signed by prev. owner, poet Karl Patten, on ffep. Soft Cover G+

All items are subject to prior sale, and prices are net to all. Items generally ship within 2 business days (Monday through Friday).

Bookfeathers accepts payment through the site with Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We will hold items up to seven days awaiting U. S. checks and money orders. Pennsylvania residents please add 6% sales tax.

We ship items by USPS Media Mail at the rate of $3.50/item + $1.00/additional item. Whenever possible, we adjust rates downward and bundle items to equate to as few items as possible. We ship large or heavy items at higher rates, but only upon the buyer’s approval. Please inquire about other means of shipping, optional insurance, or shipping outside the United States.

Customers may return items for any reason for a full refund of purchase price within ten days of delivery (prior e-mail notification is necessary). We refund shipment costs only if an item is not as described. Returned items must be in the same condition as initially shipped for any kind of refund.
