The information came from "The Star", a newspaper that was founded by people on their way to the gold fields of California and became stranded in Panama in 1849. The paper still survives. The quoted material is datelined and melds together a historical record of the temper of its time and punctuated by the events of its days. Stated first Edition Hard Cover

Please use the TomFolio credit card processing service. Personal checks or money orders can be set directly to my address. Please make them payable to: Jeanette Stratton. Books are shipped Media Rate and insured. Postage is $6.00 for the first book and $1.50 for each additional volume. Maps are shipped flat as they are on acid free whiteboard and shrinkwrapped. Postage on the maps is $6.00 for the first map and $2.00 for each additional map. Canadian Global Priority and International shipping will be determined prior to shipment. If more postage is required you will be notified. Multi-volume sets will be shipped at $6.00 for first book and each additional volume at $1.50 each additional volume. Shipping and insurance are included in the price of the items. Books, and maps are returnable if not as described within 5 days of receipt, and must be in same condition as mailed..
