Soft cover 8vo - over 7 - 9" tall "..This is an attempt to record the highlights of the history of Lewes, Delaware in an interesting form and to mark those few places of colonial Lewes that remain in the hope that they will be preserved from destruction, or prevent such alterations as might result in the loss of their identity. All of the early homes were of frame construction although in 1692 there was one brick house in Lewes. The location has never been determined and even that was not remembered by anyone when Dr. C. H. B. Turner was doing historical research here about 1900.." 78 pages. Book is in GOOD condition. Paper wrappes; stapled binding.
