First U.S. Edition hardback, NF+/F, with an evenly cracked front hinge and a touch of dust spotting to head. I was under the impression that the UK preceded, but looking at them side by side, it's obvious that it's the exact same book (same binding, UK spelling) with a different dust jacket, so perhaps this might be better thought of as the first hardback edition in a second state dj. Both were preceded by a UK paperback. Whatever you call it, this is a fine slipstream fantasy by turns both witty and nightmarish. Sterling Slipstream List. Recommended.
