The Key to the Great Gate
Author: Gotleib, Hinko Publisher: Simon & Schuster, 1947.
A Fine- copy with a tiny bit of bumping at and heel in a Near Fine- dust jacket with two 1/2" closed tears on top front dj and associated creasing, a few smaller closed tears, and dust staining to white rear cover; a reasonably nice copy. Fantasy of three prisoners of the Nazis in wartime Vienna, one of whom seems to be able to transcend the limits of their cell in quite radical ways. According to Leslie What by way of Howard Waldrop, this is "the funniest book ever written about the Holocaust." (No, really, they were being serious and offering up high praise.) A pretty unusual book, and not terribly well known among genre readers.
Price: US$35.00. Quantity available: 1.
