Pinkish cloth hardcover with black stamped title and cover device., in a bright orange dustjacket with bright pink woodblock print. 71 pages with floral block prints designs here and there. This was McPhearson's first book of poetry, winner of tthe Association of American University Pressess' award for the National Council on the Arts Selection in poetry. She writes winningly and wittily about everyday experiences and feelings. Book is in near fine condition with previous owner's name (prominent American poet) in pencil on the front free endpaper. Jacket has several small chips to color on front and spine, 1/2-inch closed tear at spine head. All else clean and sound.
