Pale green heavy paper wraps with vignette of diesel generator in colors, stapled with an ornamental green tie embellishment. 40 pages, beautifully illustrated with dense photo-gravure type half-tones with the addition of green, red, and yellow to indicate various chambers and parts. Very pretty even though I don't understand a bit of it. The booklet covers topics such as th evolution of the diesel, principles of applications and two-stroke and four-stroke cycles, lubrication, oil recommendations for various cylindars, etc. In very good condition with slight aging on a couple of edges, pencil note on title page, a few very small spots on back cover. Instructions on using Gargoyle Oils. (That's Gargoyle, a brand name - has nothing to do with gargling for a sore throat!)
