Walter Keady
Irish-born American novelist and short story writer. Walter Keady was born in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland in 1934 and now lives in in New York's Hudson Valley. His first novel, Celibates and Other Lovers, was published in 1997. This was followed by Mary McGreevy (1998), The Altruist (2003), and The Dowry; A Novel of Ireland (2007). His short stories have appeard in Modern Maturity and the American Irish Historical Society.
