Russell Allon Hehr (1919- ) served for many years as assistant head of the Fine Arts Department of Cleveland's Main Library. He is the co-author of two books on the Euclid Beach Amusement Park which operated from 1985 until 1969: Euclid Beach Park is Closed for the Season and its sequel, Euclid Beach Park: A Second Look. He has also contributed to the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History. Hehr is also a well-known collector of nativity scenes about which he frequently lectures.
