Adrienne Barbeau
American television, film, and musical theater actress. After making her Broadway debut in Fiddler on the Roof, Adrienne Jo Barbeau starred in over 25 musicals and plays. She received a Theater Guild award and a 1972 Tony Award nomination for her performance in Grease. Her role in the TV series Maude from 1972 to 1978 brought her to prominence and a career in television. She made her film debut in 1980 and subsequently appeared in several horror and science fiction films, as well as direct-to-video films. Later she mostly appeared in made-for-television films, but released album as a folk singer in 1998. Her
autobiography, There Are Worse Things I Could Do was published in 2006.
