American poet. Dorothy Simpson Bridges is the wife of the late international film and TV star Lloyd Bridges, and mother of actors Jeff and Beau. With actor Thorsten Kaye, she published her first collection of poetry, From Timber Ridge to Daymer Gardens: A Journey in Words. This was followed by You Caught Me Kissing: A Love Story, a collection of the love poems she wrote every Valentine's Day to her husband.
