The book has a tight binding, fine cover, clean end papers and pages. Crisp and new looking. There are no marks or writing. The dust jacket looks crisp and clean, but there is a ripple at the bottom of the front panel of the dust jacket - noticable on the inside of the jacket. There is a tiny spot where the color of the jacket is missing, not that noticeable because of the design of the cover. Not price clipped. The jacket is now protected in a new archival see-through, removable mylar cover. The book is illustrated by Antonio Frasconi. There are notes in the rear of the book that explains the illustrations - originally done in woodcuts. The color throughout the book is a magenta-purple, orange, brown-orange, black.
