Colorstruck was published by the author & her husband under the B.Q. Press imprint. None of the printings of the 1st editions had an ISBN. The Author's First Novel, Colorstruck is a monumental novel often described as the first novel which deals effectively with the subject of white-skinned African Americans who are often not accepted by either race. The novel combines the author's literary insight into the her personal experience & the history of race relations in the United States. Set in the film & jazz industries of the early 1900s, the author details the lives of a pair of Black twins, one of whom passes for white. Author's business card covered with & attached to the inside of the front cover with clear tape, slight creases on the tips of the right corners of the front cover o/w Near Fine, i.e. minimal signs of careful use with no significant defects.
