After graduating from Wellesley College with a political science degree,
Lisa Kleypas published her first novel at age twenty-one. Her books are
published in fourteen languages and are bestsellers all over the world. Lisa
is married and they have two children.
Lisa says, "I started writing romance
novels because I have always loved to read them. I was unquestionably a nerd
all through grade school--and even though I 'blossomed' in high school,
believe me, the inner nerd was still there! I have never been able to
imagine time better spent than reading a book, and this love of reading
eventually translated into a keen desire to write one."
